Terms & Definitions

Certification Status:
  "CERTIFIED" indicates the planner is currently in good standing and is certified by CFP Board to use the certification trademarks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and .
  "NOT CERTIFIED" indicates the planner is not certified to use the certification trademarks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and .
CFP® Practitioner:
  A checkmark () indicates that the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant indicated to CFP Board he/she is a practicing financial planner.
Disciplinary History:
  CFP Board's public disciplinary action can take one of three forms - a public Letter of Admonition, a temporary license suspension or a permanent revocation of the individual's CFP® certification.
